Technical Assistance

Frequently Asked Questions

Please look at the Frequently Asked Questions section first, when you need Technical Assistance. Here you can find the answers to many common questions and concerns. If you can't find the assistance in that FAQ section then one of these other options will provide the assistance you need.

Contact a Operating Division Section 508 coordinator

Operating Division Section 508 coordinators are directly responsible for ensuring activities related to Section 508. They disseminate information and technical assistance, coordinate training and information sessions, review exception requests, and participate on the Section 508 Program Team to help ensure coordination of effort across the Department by the Office on Disability. The coordinators report directly to the Section 508 officials.

Attend a Monthly Technical Assistance call-in

The HHS Office on Disability is offering monthly Technical Assistance Calls to discuss how to comply with Section 508 from a technical, legal, or procurement prospective.  Everyone is welcome to ask questions during the conference calls. All questions are anonymous by email (questions@508.hhs.gov) and only basic outcomes are recorded.

Questions on training logistics will not be addressed at this teleconference.

Time: 2:45 PM EST (third Thursday) of each month.
Duration: 1 hour
Conference call-in number:  1-866-704-1652
Pass Code: 385796#.
