508 Officials
Section 508 Officials are senior executives from
each Operating Division charged with making decisions regarding
Section 508 for the Agency Head. They submit implementation plans,
respond to Office on Disability and Department of Justice inquiries
regarding Section 508 activities, and ensure staff attend appropriate
training necessary to ensure compliance. Generally, they should
be contacted via the OPDIV Section 508 Coordinator [as listed
above].

of the Coordinator.
* These individuals,
while having roles in their respective STAFFDIV, also provide
HHS-wide Technical Assistance directly to the Office on Disability
as time and needs permit.
+ OIG is considered
to be part of the Office of the Secretary for the purposes of
Section 508. They have identified resources within their organization
to support 508 due to the operational differences between OS
and OIG.
